Lindsay Broadband offers the first chain-mounted Wi-Fi platform capable of incorporating OpenWiFi and OpenRoaming. By using existing HFC assets, This provides MSOs with a fast path to higher revenue per download, with both mobile and non-mobile federated access. Next-generation wire-based Wi-Fi complements the subscriber experience from outdoor to indoor solutions.

Lindsay Broadband has been a valuable contributing partner to the project TIP OpenWiFi. When using DOCSIS from Lindsay, hardened, wire-mounted access points for Wi-Fi (SMHAP series), cable thread is now compatible with OpenWiFi and the HFC plant is now ready for OpenRoaming. Operators can participate not only in access point services, they can now also support seamless roaming and data downloading from mobile operators. 💡
